Overview & Introduction
Lawbox is a legal consultancy practice that challenges the conventional approach to delivering legal services.
As such, we’re always on the scout for talented legal professionals who are hungry for a different way of doing things.
We believe it is possible to have a good work / life balance as a solicitor and still succeed in delivering a better service for our clients, whilst developing new business.
We are in the process of building a network of consultant solicitors to help grow our current specialisms and develop new ones that complement our existing services.

What are the differences between us and traditional firms?
Freedom and flexibility
Well first off, we are an entirely remote legal consultancy, in that we don’t have regional offices.
Everyone who works with us does so of their own accord, choosing the hours they want to work, in their own space, whether that be at home, in a local café, in the park, on the beach, at the top of a mountain, or in the clubhouse of their chosen sports club! So long as they can do their work effectively and can be contacted by their clients (maintaining client confidentiality protocol!), we simply don’t care. Whatever makes your life easier and enables you to be as efficient as possible with your time. You decide.
No glass ceilings!
Secondly, there is no waiting game. Those who work with us are the only people holding themselves back.
We promote the highest standard of service and there are rules to be followed in terms of how we conduct our business, but if you have what it takes and are ambitious enough then we will gladly support you in developing your business so that you benefit directly from your efforts.
Value driven customer service
A fundamental difference between us and many traditional law firms is the manner in which we approach customer service. We understand that every client is different just as every business is different and as a result it is impossible to apply the same generic solutions to their problems.
We spend time getting to know our clients, what’s important to them, and what it is exactly they are trying to achieve. Only then can we offer solutions to their problems, and guess what? Those solutions might not always be legal ones.
How we work
Typically, we appoint experienced consultants to help us deliver services to new and existing clients on a set day, or hourly rate. Consultants work alongside our Client Relationship Managers to deliver an in-house service to our clients, either acting on a specific project, or supporting their existing in-house legal team.
We support Partner Consultants (PC’s) to develop their own business under the Lawbox umbrella.
PC’s will typically set up their own specialism, building their client base and teams accordingly, under the banner of Lawbox.
Lawbox provides all of the infrastructure, marketing support, and insurance requirements in return for a percentage of the PC’s fee income, which is scaleable dependent on their level of turnover.
Our business model drives lower overheads which enables us to spend more time with our clients, understanding their business so that we can add value where it matters to them.
We require all our Consultants to have a minimum of five years PQE and a proven track record in their field.
We believe that Lawbox can open up the door for those seeking an alternative way of practicing law.
